The Pier originally appeared at Burning Man in 2011, like a mirage it emerged out of the playa from nothing. The Pier was a launching pad for imagination and adventure that captured the minds and hearts of Burners. In 2012 we crashed a 90 foot long 3 story full Spanish galleon shipwreck into it. We had to top it with something and we thought a fire breathing pirate ship with a 4 year timeline and 1000 props telling the story of our derelict time displaced crew was the perfect sequel.
